SRINAGAR: The District Administration Jammu on Saturday conducted an anti-encroachment operation at Harsa Dabbar village in Tehsil Bishnah, continuing its ongoing campaign against land grabbers and drug peddlers.

The operation, carried out under the directions of District Magistrate Rakesh Minhas and in coordination with SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, resulted in the demolition of illegal property and the escheatment of 14 kanal of land to the State. The recovered land is slated for the establishment of a Niabat, Police Chowki, and Patwar Halqa.
Officials reiterated that illegal conversion or encroachment of State land, agricultural land, or custodian property will not be tolerated, warning that strict legal action will be taken against violators, including those involved in NDPS-related offences.
The drive was supervised by SDM Jammu South Manu Hansa and Superintendent of Police (HQ) Jammu Irshad Rather, with participation from Tehsildar Bishnah Ankush Tripathi, SDPO R.S. Pura Gurmeet Singh, SHO Bishnah Rakesh Jamwal, and teams from the Revenue and Police departments.
