SRINAGAR: At least five persons were killed while several others have been critically injured in a tragic mishap involving a passenger bus in Doda district.
Quoting officials, GNS reported that a bus, carrying some 55 passengers, rolled down into a deep gorge at the Assar area in Doda Wednesday morning, leaving at least five dead and several injured.
“The bodies of five persons have been recovered from the site while it is believed that the tally is highly likely to increase given the nature of the accident”, they said.
The injured have been shifted to different local health facilities for immediate treatment.
