Jammu and Kashmir: Congress Releases Third List of Candidates for Assembly Elections

   

SRINAGAR: The Central Election Committee of Congress released its third list of candidates for the forthcoming Legislative Assembly elections in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir on Monday.

The list features 19 candidates for various constituencies across the region. Among the key candidates are Irshad Ab Gani for Langate, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar for Sopore, and Advocate Irfan Hafeez Lone for Wagoora-Kreeri. In Udhampur West, Summit Mangotra has been nominated, while Kajal Rajput will represent Bani.

Other significant names include Dr Manohar Lal Sharma from Billawar, Ch. Lal Singh from Basohli, and Thakur Manmohan Singh from Jammu West. The election will take place in three phases between 18 September and 1 October, with the counting scheduled for 8 October.

Pura – Jammu South), T S Tony (Bahu), Yogesh Sawhney (Jammu East), Balbir Singh (Nagrota), Thakur Manmohan Singh (Jammu West), Mula Ram (Marh, SC).
