SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government, through an official order issued on December 1, has implemented several administrative transfers and postings in the interest of governance. These changes are effective immediately and involve senior IAS and JKAS officers.
Ms Nidhi Malik, IAS (AGMUT:2013):
Previously awaiting a posting in the General Administration Department, Ms Malik has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.
Rupesh Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:2019)
Also awaiting a posting, Kumar has been transferred to serve as the Director, Social Welfare, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Shahzad Alam, IAS (AGMUT:2019)
Alam, formerly in the General Administration Department, has been posted as the Director, Employment, J&K, succeeding Nisar Ahmed Wani, JKAS.
Additionally, Alam will hold additional charge of the posts of Chief Executive Officer, Mission Youth, and Mission Director, Mission YUVA, until further orders.
Vishesh Paul Mahajan, JKAS
Serving as the Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Mahajan has been transferred and appointed as the Director, Tourism, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
The changes were authorised by the Lieutenant Governor and communicated through the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government.
