SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has ordered the suspension of SSP-rank officer Fayaz Ahmed Lone, who serves as Staff Officer to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) AP/IR, pending an inquiry into his conduct.
“Under Rule 31 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Fayaz Ahmed Lone (JKPS-1999) has been placed under suspension with immediate effect,” an order issued by the Home Department reads.
The order, further specifies that during his suspension, Lone will remain attached to Police Headquarters, JK.
