SRINAGAR: Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have identified five locations, in addition to Gulmarg, to host skiing courses this winter season.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that five locations across Jammu and Kashmir have been selected for skiing courses this winter.
“Three destinations in Kashmir, including Yousmarg, Doodhpathri, and Sonamarg, and two locations in Jammu division, namely Bhaderwah and Patnitop, will host skiing courses this season,” he said.
The skiing courses were previously organised only at Gulmarg, but this winter government identified five destinations where people can enrol for skiing courses.
He added that preparations are underway and will be completed soon.
Notably, the skiing courses are organised after significant snowfall at Gulmarg, attracting a large number of people from across the country.
