SRINAGAR: The army on Wednesday foiled an infiltration bid and killed an intruder along the Line of Control in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir officials said.
Quoting sources, Kashmir Scroll reported that on receiving inputs of a possible infiltration bid, the alert army soldiers upped the vigil along the Line of Control in the Uri sector.
“The alert army personnel in the course of time intercepted and gunned down a militant”, they said adding the operation in the area is currently underway.
