SRINAGAR: 45-year-old Bashir Ahmad was finally rescued after eight hours of arduous efforts. He had been stuck in a 35-foot-deep well in the Tangmarg area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Bashir Ahmad, a father of six children from Karhama Kunzer reportedly fell into the well in a nearby Dhobiwan locality at around 11 pm while trying to clean it.
After hours of intense efforts, the rescue team including SDRF, J&K Police, locals in particular managed to rescue him.
He was rushed to a nearby medical facility for necessary treatment.
