SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday arrested a woman in Srinagar accused of cheating unsuspecting citizens through various means.
“A lady, namely Zeenat, daughter of Ghulam Ah Pampori, resident of Saraibala, has been arrested for cheating gullible citizens by swapping ATM cards while posing as assistance outside ATMs. FIR no 17/2024 under sections 379 and 420 of the IPC registered in PS Khanyar,” the police wrote in a post on X.
“30 ATM cards, Rs 39,130, and gold items were recovered from her possession,” the post further reads.
