SRINAGAR: Several individuals in the twin districts of Rajouri and Reasi are facing charges for allegedly sharing “objectionable content” related to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on social media.

Media reports suggest that amidst the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, some individuals posted “sensitive content” on social media, which has the potential to “disturb the peaceful atmosphere” in Rajouri district.
The Police has viewed the matter seriously and registered a case for insulting religious feelings of a community against them.
Simultaneously, a similar incident occurred in Reasi, leading to another case against an individual for posting objectionable content.
SSP Reasi, Amit Gupta, has urged people to refrain from sharing content that disrupts peace.
