SRINAGAR: A Vistara flight destined for Srinagar encountered a bomb threat, with 177 passengers and one infant onboard, prompting swift action by both the airline and security forces, media reports said.
Flight UK-611, originating from Delhi, safely landed at Srinagar Airport around 12:10 AM. Upon arrival, standard procedure was followed, directing the aircraft to an isolation bay.
An airport official informed ANI that all passengers were safely disembarked at the isolation bay. Currently, thorough security checks are being conducted on the aircraft by relevant authorities to ensure everyone’s safety.
Despite the disruption, all passengers are accounted for and safe, with priority placed on their security. Further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
Authorities are actively investigating the source of the bomb threat and implementing necessary measures to maintain air travel safety.
