SRINAGAR: Three men fell into a well while attempting to rescue another man who accidentally slipped into it in the Khansahib area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday afternoon, officials reported.
An official said that Moomin Dar accidentally fell into the well, prompting locals to rush to his aid.
During the rescue operation, two more individuals fell into the well. “As news spread in the area, locals and the administration reached the spot and launched a massive rescue operation,” the official stated.
The individuals who fell into the well have been identified as Amjid Ali and Gulam Hassan Wani, both residents of Gotipora Khansahib.
The official stated that efforts are underway to rescue the men trapped inside the well. (KNO)
