SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Tuesday issued a provisional calendar for the sittings of its first session, set to begin with the election of the Speaker, followed by the Governor’s address on November 4.
According to a communication issued today by the Pro-tem Speaker of the JK Assembly, the session on November 5 will include obituary references. Discussion on the motion of thanks for the Governor’s address will take place on November 6 and 7, while discussion on the motion of thanks for the LG’s address, along with a reply, is scheduled for November 8, stated the document.
