SRINAGAR: The Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly is set to begin its autumn session today.
A list of business issued by assembly secretary on October 23, the session will start at 10:00 a.m., with obituary references to pay homage to several departed political leaders and public figures.
The Hon’ble Speaker will make references on the demise of Shri Satya Pal Malik, Former Governor of Jammu Kashmir, Shri Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister, Shri Dina Nath Bhagat, Former MLA, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Former MLC, Shri Ramesh Arora, Former MLC, and Sardar Mohammad Akhlaq Khan, Former MLC, list stated.
The session, which marks the beginning of a nine-day schedule, will commence with these tributes before proceeding to legislative business in the following days.
