SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Friday renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, retaining its status as the exclusive banker for all permanent government employees.
The MoU, signed at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu, guarantees continued delivery of a range of financial services specifically tailored for government staff. These include zero-balance salary accounts, concessional interest rates on various loan products, and accident insurance coverage.
Under the renewed agreement, the UT Government has also committed to providing integrated employee data, which is expected to streamline banking services and enhance the efficiency of financial transactions for public sector employees.
The renewal further cements Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s pivotal role as a financial partner to the administration, highlighting its widespread presence and support across the region’s public service infrastructure.
