The bank said the messages are unauthorised and may be designed to deceive people into sharing personal or banking information or transferring money. Fraudsters may impersonate bank officials and direct victims to click on links, join groups, download applications or files, or provide sensitive banking credentials.

JK Bank advised customers not to respond to such offers or share their OTPs, PINs, CVVs, passwords, card details or internet and mobile banking credentials. Customers were also urged not to transfer money to unknown individuals or accounts and to verify financial offers through the bank’s official channels.

The bank said anyone who has shared banking credentials or made a fraudulent transaction should immediately contact the nearest JK Bank branch or call customer care on 1800 890 2122 to have digital banking channels blocked, wherever applicable.

Customers have also been advised to report financial cyber fraud immediately by calling 1930 or through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal, while preserving relevant messages, phone numbers, Telegram handles, links and transaction details for investigation and reporting.

The bank urged customers to remain vigilant and avoid schemes promising unusually high or guaranteed returns.
