SRINAGAR: The Finance Department of the Government of Jammu Kashmir has issued an official order assigning additional responsibilities to 18 officers across various departments and offices in the Union Territory.
As per Government Order No. 56-F of 2026 dated April 1, 2026, the arrangements have been made in the interest of administration and will remain effective until further orders. All officers will continue to discharge their existing duties along with the additional responsibilities assigned to them.
Among the key assignments, Dilawar Singh, Chief Accounts Officer of the JK Sports Council, has been given additional charge of Chief Accounts Officer, Mission Youth JK. Naresh Kumar Bhat, Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, will also take on responsibilities in the Directorate of State Motor Garages.
Hilal Ahmad Wani, serving in the JK Board of School Education, Srinagar, has been assigned additional charge in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Kashmir. In Pulwama, Manzoor Akbar Dar will hold the additional post of Pay and Accounts Officer alongside his duties in the Municipal Council.
Changes have also been made in tourism and development-related institutions. Nazeer Kumar has been assigned the additional role of Treasury Officer, Badarwah, while Shivanshu Sharma will take on financial responsibilities in the Kishtwar Tourism Development Authority.
In the power and infrastructure sector, Naresh Kumar Gupta has been given additional charge at the Central Store of JPDCL, Jammu. Rakshan Peerzada will handle Pay and Accounts responsibilities for PDCJ in Kashmir in addition to his current role.
At the district and municipal levels, Suraj Jangam has been assigned additional charge in the Municipal Council, Samba, while Abdul Rashid Lone will serve as Treasury Officer, Pattan, along with his existing responsibilities in Bandipora.
The order also covers assignments in education, horticulture, and regulatory bodies. Basij Naseer Khan will oversee accounts at Government Engineering College Baramulla, and Mohd Akbar Bhat has been assigned additional duties in the Directorate of Horticulture, Kashmir.
Manzoor Ahmed Bhat has been given additional charge within the District Fund Office, Srinagar, while Mohammad Tufail Bhat will handle responsibilities in the Directorate of Floriculture, Kashmir.
Additionally, Khaleeq Sharma has been assigned the role of Pay and Accounts Officer (PDCJ), Jammu, and Ghulam Qadir Lone will oversee financial matters at the Government College of Engineering and Technology and School of Architecture, Ganderbal.
