SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has promoted 12 Senior Assistants of the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts (Inter-Organisation) Service as Head Assistants and ordered their postings to different offices across the Union Territory.
The promotions have been sanctioned in Pay Level 6B (Rs 35,600–1,12,800) with immediate effect under Government Order No. 175-Acctts of 2026, dated November 5, following recommendations of the Common Departmental Promotion Committee at its meeting held on September 15, 2026.
As per the order issued by the Directorate General of Accounts and Treasuries, Mohd Rafiq Wani has been posted to the District Fund Office, Baramulla, while Rashid Ahmad Shah has been assigned to the District Fund Office, Budgam.
Dinesh Kumar Narula has been posted to the Directorate of Audit and Inspections, Jammu and Kashmir, and Mohmooda Akhter to the District Fund Office, Pulwama. Seema Razdan has been assigned to the Divisional Fund Office, Jammu, while Heena Noor has been posted to the Directorate of Jammu and Kashmir Funds Organisation.
Afroza Bano has been posted to the District Fund Office, Srinagar, and Ajaz Ahmad Shalla to the Divisional Fund Office, Srinagar. Prithpal Singh has been assigned to the Provincial General Provident Fund Police Cell at Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu, while Anil Bhat has been posted to the Northern Zonal Accountancy Training Institute, Jammu.
Mudasir Ahmad War has been posted to the GP Fund Moving Cell, while Masrat-ul-Nisa has been assigned to the Provincial GP Fund Police Cell at Zonal Police Headquarters, Srinagar.
The order states that the promotions and consequential postings have been approved by the competent authority and that all 12 officials shall be deemed to have been relieved from their existing places of posting.
It also stipulates that the promotions shall remain subject to the outcome of any writ petition pending before a competent court or tribunal.
