SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has ordered the transfer and posting of 171 financial officials in a major administrative reshuffle.
The decision, issued under Order No. 90-ACCTTS of 2026 dated June 6, 2026, was sanctioned by the Director General of Accounts and Treasuries, JK, in the interest of public administration.
The order primarily affects Assistant Accounts Officers (AAOs) and Assistant Treasury Officers (ATOs) serving across municipal corporations, engineering wings, block development offices and various specialised state directorates.
The extensive list of transfers includes Ms. Meena Gupta, who moves from the New Maternity Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu to the Directorate of Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, replacing Ms. Geeta Devi. Concurrently, Ms. Geeta Devi has been posted to the Divisional Commissioner Office Jammu, taking over the role of Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, while Ms. Meenakshi Sharma fills the vacancy left by Ms. Meena Gupta at the New Maternity Hospital.
Mr. Ved Parkash has been shifted from District Jail Udhampur to the Electrical Maintenance & RE Division (JPDCL) Udhampur, replacing Mr. Raman Gupta. In the engineering sectors, Mr. Ram Dass Sharma transitions from the PHE Jal Shakti Division Akhnoor to the Civil Investigation Division PDC Jammu, replacing Mr. Ramnesh Sharma. Ms. Sabia leaves the Financial Organization, PDD, Srinagar to become the AAO at the Addl. Director Sericulture, Kashmir, taking over for Mr. Pervaiz Ahmad Lone. Furthermore, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Shah moves from the PMGSY Division Ganderbal to a full-time role at the Geologist Geological Division PDC Bemina.
Mr. Rajesh Kumar has been reassigned from the PHE (Jal Shakti) Division, Kishtwar to serve as ATO Chatroo, filling the post previously held by Mr. Ghulam Mohd Wani. Meanwhile, Mr. Javid Ahmad Dar shifts from the PHE Jal Shakti Division Bijbehara to the Pahalgam Development Authority against an available vacancy. Mr. Shuja Ahmad Bhat leaves the Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries, Kashmir to become ATO Kunzer, replacing Mr. Riyaz Ahmad Lone.
