SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has announced a temporary suspension of the JKPaySys application for three days to facilitate its migration to the National Government Cloud (NGC), resulting in a complete service downtime for government financial transactions.
According to an official notification issued by the Directorate General of Accounts and Treasuries, the migration process will commence at 2:00 PM on June 12, 2026 and will continue until 2:00 PM on June 15, 2026. During this period, all services on JKPaySys will remain unavailable.
The department has directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), controlling officers, and other stakeholders using the platform to take advance note of the scheduled downtime and plan their financial operations accordingly to avoid disruption.
The migration is being carried out as part of the system’s transition to the National Government Cloud, aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure and improving service security and efficiency.
The National Informatics Centre (NIC), Jammu and Kashmir Unit, has been instructed to complete the migration process in coordination with the Finance Department, as per earlier directives issued in May 2026.
The order, bearing reference number DGAT-COMP/CC-7698046/78 and dated June 11, 2026, has been circulated to all administrative departments, district treasuries, finance officials, and IT authorities concerned across the Union Territory.
Normal services on JKPaySys are expected to resume after 2:00 PM on June 15, 2026, following successful completion of the migration process.
