SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the promotion of four officers in the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department with immediate effect.
According to a government order, Riyaz Ahmad Romshoo and Ashu Gupta have been promoted from Director to Director General in the JK Economics and Statistics (Gazetted) Service. They have been placed in the Super Time Scale of Level 14 (Rs 1,44,200–2,18,200) and will continue at their present places of posting until further orders.
In a separate order, Mohammad Iqbal and Yoginder Katoch have been elevated from Joint Director to Director in the JK Economics and Statistics (Gazetted) Service. They have been placed in the Special Scale of Level 13 (Rs 1,23,100–2,15,900) and will also continue at their current postings until further orders.
The promotions have been effected with immediate effect, the order stated.
