SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced 16 contractual positions under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. The Housing and Urban Development Department, through the Mission Director, seeks to recruit retired officers and experienced professionals across a variety of technical and support roles to strengthen urban infrastructure development.
The positions are distributed as follows:
Key Experts (9 Positions): These include Team Leader (Water Supply Expert), Consultants for Civil, Mechanical, and Structural Engineering, Groundwater Specialist, WTP/Process Expert, Quantity Surveyor, Electro-Mechanical Expert, and SCADA Expert.
Non-Key Experts (6 Positions): These comprise Design Support Engineers, Field Support Engineers, Construction Supervisors, and Support Engineers for Mechanical and Instrumentation/Electrical disciplines.
Office Support Staff (2 Positions): CAD Operator/Draftsman and Data Entry Operator.

The engagements are on a contractual/consolidated basis, initially for one year, with a possible extension based on performance and project needs. This recruitment drive seeks to enhance the implementation of AMRUT 2.0 initiatives aimed at improving urban infrastructure across the union territory.
