Jammu Kashmir: Government Regularises Seven In-charge Private Secretaries

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has regularised the services of seven In-charge Private Secretaries as Private Secretaries in the Jammu and Kashmir Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-II, according to an official order.

The regularisation has been approved on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), as per Government Order No. 54-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated January 14.

The officers have been placed in Pay Level-8 (RS 47,600–Rs 1,51,100) with effect from July 24, 2025. Those regularised include Vinod Kumar Bhat, Mohd Yasin Dar, Riyaz Ahmad Wani, Suresh Bedi, Server Ahmad Jan, Javeed Ahmad Dar and Mehraj-ud-Din Dar.

As per the order, the officers will continue to serve at their present places of posting until further instructions are issued.

The government clarified that the regularisation will be subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts.
