SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi Sushil Kesar, JKAS, as Executive Magistrate and Additional District Magistrate within his territorial jurisdiction in Reasi district.
The appointment was notified by the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs through Notification S.O. 261, under Section 14(1) and Section 14(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
According to the notification, Kesar will exercise the powers of an Executive Magistrate within his territorial jurisdiction in Reasi district. The government has also appointed him as an Additional District Magistrate under Section 14(2) of the legislation.
