SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has approved the promotion of Naila Zahoor Chib, a Selection Grade Officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Service, to the Special Scale with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 173-F of 2026 issued by the Finance Department of Jammu and Kashmir, the promotion places Chib in Pay Level-13, with a salary range of Rs 123100–Rs 215900. The decision follows recommendations made during the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee meeting held on April 9, 2026.
The promotion has been circulated to senior administrative and government offices, including officials in the police, archives, and information departments, as well as the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
