SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has accorded administrative approval for construction of a multi-purpose indoor sports hall in Ganderbal at an estimated cost of Rs 6.17 crore.
The proposed facility will measure 60 metres by 40 metres and will be equipped with modern sporting amenities, according to the government.
The project is intended to provide young athletes with improved infrastructure for training and developing their sporting skills.
The government said the facility will also support local sporting talent and strengthen the sports ecosystem in Ganderbal by providing a venue for training and participation in various sporting activities.
