SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has assigned additional administrative responsibilities to senior IAS officer Piyush Singla in the interest of smooth governance.
According to Government Order No. 806-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated April 18, Singla, who is currently serving as Secretary to the Government in the Information Technology Department and also holding additional charge of the Public Grievances Department, has been entrusted with further responsibilities. He will now hold the charge of Administrative Secretary in the Transport Department as well as the Hospitality and Protocol Department.
The order specifies that these additional assignments will be held by Singla alongside his existing duties until Avny Lavasa resumes her duties.
