SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday assigned additional charge to two senior finance officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 239-F of 2026, dated July 13, 2026, issued by the Finance Department, Romesh Singh, Director Finance, Transport Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Director Finance, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department in addition to his existing duties until Ashok Singh returns from leave.
The order also assigns Anand Thakur Sen, Chief Accounts Officer, Police Housing Corporation, the additional charge of Chief Accounts Officer, Jammu and Kashmir National Rural Livelihood Mission (JKNRLM) alongside his present responsibilities until Sameer-ul-Rehman resumes duty after leave.
The Finance Department said the arrangements have been made in the interest of administration and will remain in force until the regular incumbents return from leave.
