SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has directed all government departments, public sector undertakings and autonomous bodies to observe Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to November 1, 2026, under the theme “Probity for Prosperity”.
The observance will begin with an integrity pledge to be administered to public servants at 11 am on October 26, with the administration asking departments and organisations to ensure active participation by their officers and employees.
The departments have also been asked to organise activities highlighting the importance of integrity and the prevention of corruption as part of the week-long programme.
The initiative is aimed at promoting transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in public administration, while encouraging public servants to discharge their duties with honesty, fairness and responsibility.
