SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has extended the deadline for submission of self-appraisal reports under the Annual Performance Report (APR) system for the 2025–26 assessment year.
According to Government Order No. 864-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department on May 4, the last date for submitting self-appraisal on the SPARROW portal has been extended from April 30 to May 15, 2026.
The extension applies to all gazetted officers of the Union Territory, excluding members of the IAS, IPS, IFoS and JKAS services.
Officials said the decision has been taken to ensure timely and comprehensive submission of APRs in line with the prescribed rules governing the preparation and periodicity of performance reports.
The government has also clarified that all other timelines under the APR Rules, 2001, will remain unchanged.
