Jammu Kashmir Govt Grants Regularisation to 16 Section Officers in Secretariat Subordinate Service

   

SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has sanctioned the regularisation of 16 In-charge Section Officers serving in the Jammu Kashmir Secretariat (Subordinate) Service, in a significant administrative decision formalised through an official order.

The decision has been issued under Government Order No. 1061-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated June 9, 2026, and signed by Commissioner/Secretary M Raju (IAS). It follows the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), which convened on May 15, 2026 to review eligible cases.

As per the order, the officers have been placed in Pay Level-7, corresponding to a pay scale of ₹44,900–Rs 1,42,400, in accordance with applicable service rules governing the Secretariat cadre.

The regularisation has been granted with effect from different dates, including December 11, 2024, June 16, 2025, August 20, 2025 and February 12, 2026, depending on individual service records. In certain cases, the benefit extends up to the date of retirement of the concerned officers.

The list of officers includes Suneeta Moza, Tanveer Hussain, Ab Rashid Bhat, Nazir Ahmad Pampori (till retirement on March 31, 2026), Rafiq Ahmad Peer, Ulfat Jan, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Swarn Singh Bali (till retirement on September 30, 2025), Gulzar Hussain Malik, Abdul Gani, Reyaz Ahmad Rather, Jasbir Singh, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Yaseen Ganai, Mubarak Ahmad Mir (till retirement on March 31, 2026), and Dalip Singh.

The order further stipulates that the regularisation shall remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts of law.
