SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued the terms and conditions of service for the Chairperson and Members of the Jammu and Kashmir Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), according to a notification from the Housing and Urban Development Department.
Under the notification, the Chairperson and Members will receive a salary equivalent to the last pay drawn at the time of their retirement from previous service, after deducting pension—including its commuted value—along with applicable dearness allowance.
The tenure of their appointment will be five years from the date of assuming office or until they reach the age of 65, whichever comes first.
The officials will also be entitled to transport, residential accommodation, medical facilities, telephone charges, and hospitality benefits as were admissible at the time of retirement. In addition, they will accrue 30 days of earned leave for every completed year of service.
