SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu Kashmir ordered a major administrative reshuffle in the Power Development Department (PDD), elevating 39 In-charge Assistant Engineers (AEs) as In-charge Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) and transferring or posting 77 In-charge AEEs and AEs across various power corporations and divisions.
According to the orders, 25 degree-holder In-charge AEs were elevated as In-charge AEEs. They are Vishal Sharma, Vinod Mathur, Sayed Ahmed Farooqi, Mohammad Ashraf, Rippen Kumar, Masood-ul-Sharief Zargar, Talib Hussain Geelani, Sunil Kumar, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat, Vijay Kumar, Prairna Bhagat, Amjad Parvaiz, Navneet Gupta, Parshotam Kumar, Keshav Chander Khajuria, Mohammad Khan, Prithipal Singh, Mushtaq Ahmed, Hakim-ud-Din Khan, Rakesh Kumar Bangotra, Maqbool Hussain, Pawan Kumar, Sajda Begum, Mohammad Rafiq Khan and Vijay Kumar Sharma.
In addition, 15 diploma-holder In-charge AEs were promoted as In-charge AEEs. These include Shah Mehroze Ahmed, Gowhar Rafiqi, Anuradha Gupta, Nishi Bala, Rekha Zaroo, Swaiba Jan Qadri, Ravi Ji Koul, Arvind Sharma, Rajni Sharma, Waseem Sajjad, Ruby Jan, Shamash Kaloo, Rita Gupta, Ranjay Gupta and Mohammad Iqbal Wadoo.
Following these elevations, 77 In-charge AEEs and AEs were shifted or posted to different locations. Among the key postings, Sayed Farooq was posted to Division-I JKPCL; Mohammad Ashraf to Sub-Division Tangdhar, ED Kupwara KPDCL; Vishal Sharma to Sub-Division Ramkote, ED Kathua JPDCL; Rippen Kumar to Sub-Division-I SLDC, JKPTCL Jammu; Masood-ul-Sharief to Sub-Division-I, ED Doda JPDCL; Vinod Mathur to Sub-Division-II, ED Doda JPDCL; Talib Hussain to ED Shopian, Sub-Division Shopian KPDCL; and Sunil Kumar to Sub-Division Ramgarh, ED Vijaypur JPDCL.
Khursheed Ahmed was posted to Sub-Division Langate, ED Handwara; Vijay Kumar to Sub-Division Dharmari, ED Reasi; Prairna Bhagat to the Inspection Division Jammu; Amjad Parvaiz to the Managing Director’s office, JKPDC; Navneet Gupta as Technical Officer to the Executive Engineer STD-II JPDCL; Parshotam Kumar to ED-I, Sub-Division Plant JPDCL; Keshav Chander to ED-III, Sub-Division Canal JPDCL; Mohammad Khan to ED Poonch as Technical Officer; Prithipal Singh to the Planning Circle JPDCL Jammu; Mushtaq Ahmed to Sub-Division-II, ED Baramulla KPDCL; and Hakim-ud-Din Khan to Sub-Division Nawakadal, ED-III KPDCL.
Rakesh Kumar Bangotra was posted to the Corporate Office of JKPTCL; Maqbool Hussain to Sub-Division Mendhar, ED Poonch; Pawan Kumar to Sub-Division Billawar, ED Kathua; Mohammad Rafiq Khan to ED-II, Sub-Division Hazuribagh; Sajda Begum to ED-I, Sub-Division Nagrota; and Vijay Kumar Sharma to Sub-Division Kotranka, ED Rajouri.
Among diploma-holder postings, Shah Mehroze Ahmed was posted to ED-III, Sub-Division Pathermasjid; Gowhar Rafiqi was placed at the disposal of the Managing Director JKPDC; Anuradha Gupta to TLMD-III Udhampur, Sub-Division-I JKPTCL; Nishi Bala to Sub-Division Store, TLMD-II JKPTCL; Rekha Zaroo to Division-II JKPCL; Swaiba Jan Qadri to Cyber Security, LDC JKPTCL Kashmir; Ravi Ji Koul to TLMD-I Jammu as Technical Officer to the Executive Engineer; Arvind Sharma to ED-I Parade JPDCL as Technical Officer; Rajni Sharma to the office of the Superintending Engineer, Planning Circle JPDCL Jammu; Waseem Sajjad to STF Bijbehara KPDCL as Technical Officer; Ruby Jan to TLMD-III, Sub-Division-II Amargarh JKPTCL; Shamash Kaloo to the Planning Circle JPDCL; Rita Gupta to OM Circle Jammu as Technical Officer to the Superintending Engineer; Mohammad Iqbal Wadoo to Sub-Division Banihal, ED Batote JPDCL; and Ranjay Gupta to Sub-Division-I Sidhra, TLMD-V JKPTCL Jammu.
Separately, several In-charge AEEs and AEs were shifted. Shiv Raj Sharma was transferred from STD Udhampur, Sub-Division Katra JPDCL to ED Vijaypur, Sub-Division Bari Brahmana JPDCL, while Harvinder Singh was posted to Sub-Division Gangyal/Shastri Nagar, ED-II. Sarfraz Ahmed moved from Sub-Division Surankote, ED Poonch to the Project Wing Jammu in the office of the Chief Engineer JPDCL. Vinod Kumar was shifted from Sub-Division Ramkote, ED Kathua to OM Circle-I JKPTCL Jammu as Technical Officer.
Other transfers include Ramanjeet Singh Rathore from Sub-Division Canal, ED-III JPDCL to Sub-Division Bari Brahmana STD-II; Bharat Bhushan from Sub-Division Hiranagar, ED Kathua to Sub-Division Bhaderwah, ED Doda; Rajesh Kumar from Electric Project Division Jammu JKPDC to Sub-Division Hiranagar, ED Kathua; Shafiq Ahmed from Sub-Division Banihal, ED Batote to Sub-Division-II (Mir Bazar), TLMD-VIII JKPTCL Kashmir; Nazir Ismail Bhat from Sub-Division-II Mir Bazar to TLMD-IV Sub-Division-II JKPTCL Kashmir; and Shiraz Ahmed from Sub-Division Thathri, ED Kishtwar JPDCL to Sub-Division Awantipora, TLMD-II JKPTCL Kashmir.
Rajesh Mengi was moved from Sub-Division Katra, ED Reasi to Sub-Division Thathri, ED Kishtwar JPDCL; Bhupinder Singh from ED Doda to the office of the Managing Director JKPDC; Kiran Kumar Gupta from TLMD-III, Sub-Division-I Udhampur JKPTCL to Sub-Division Katra, STD Udhampur JPDCL; Ashok Kumar Dubey from Sub-Division Ramgarh, ED Vijaypur to Electric Central Store Division Jammu; Mohammad Altaf Wani from JKPDC to the Procurement Wing KPDCL Srinagar; and Abdul Wahab Mir from the office of the Chief Engineer Planning and Procurement KPDCL to Project Division Srinagar Left, KPDCL.
Further, Rajnesh Kumar was shifted from Sub-Division Dharmari, ED Reasi to Project Division Sub-Division-II JPDCL; Sweety Pargal from Project Division Sub-Division-II to IT and C Division Jammu JPDCL; Kulbir Singh from Sub-Division Hazuribagh, ED-II Srinagar to the office of the Managing Director JKPDC; Ashiq Hussain within ED Pulwama; Mohammad Jamshaid from ED Rajouri Plant to Sub-Division Poonch, ED Poonch; and Mohammad Fazal from Sub-Division Poonch, ED Poonch to ED Rajouri Plant.
I/C AEs Jyoti Sharma, Deepak Raj Bhat, Munish Manchanda, Javid Ahmed Khan, Iqra Manzoor, Bandana Manhas, Sachin Tickoo, Sunil Salgotra and Anil Gupta were also transferred to various departments and divisions, including JKPTCL, JPDCL, JMC and the Science and Technology Department, against existing vacancies or in place of outgoing officers.
The reshuffle forms part of routine administrative measures aimed at strengthening manpower deployment and improving operational efficiency within the Power Development Department and its allied corporations.
