SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of nine Naib Tehsildars across various districts of the Union Territory with immediate effect.
The transfers have been ordered in the interest of administration through Government Order No. 151-FC(Rev) of 2026, dated October 30, issued by the Office of the Financial Commissioner (Revenue).
As per the order, Farooq Anwar Mirza, presently posted at Chanderkote in Ramban district, has been transferred to Nowshera in Rajouri, while Naseer Ahmad Banday has been shifted from Palmar in Kishtwar to Bhalla in Doda district.
Sardar Ali, who was working in the office of the Financial Commissioner, J&K, has been posted at Nagri Parole in Kathua district. Mohd Muzafar Jawad has been transferred from Mansar in Udhampur to Nagrota in Jammu district.
Intakhab Ahmed, serving as LA Naib Tehsildar at Gool, has been posted at Chandak in Poonch district.
Similarly, Javed Ahmad Pintoo has been shifted from Pahloo in Kulgam district to Shahpora in Gurez, Bandipora, while Ali Mohd Lone has been transferred from Hermain in Shopian to Gulshanpora in Gurez.
Sandeep Kumar Thappa has been transferred from Ramkote in Kathua to Arnia in the RS Pura area of Jammu district. Aafaq Ahad Wani, who was posted at Chamalwas in Banihal, Ramban, has been shifted to Magam in Kupwara district.
The order directs all nine officials to report to their new places of posting forthwith.
