SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday ordered a reshuffle in the civil administration, issuing transfers and postings of IAS and JKAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 938-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, Anil Banka, IAS (AGMUT: 2015), Special Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir. He will take charge vice Khalid Majeed, JKAS, who has been directed to await further adjustment orders in the General Administration Department.
Mahima Madan, IAS (AGMUT: 2021), Additional Secretary, Information Technology Department, who was also holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA and Director, Defence Labour Procurement, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua. She will assume the post vice Vishavjeet Singh, JKAS, who too has been asked to await further adjustment orders.
Asha Choudhary Malhotra, IAS (AGMUT: 2022), who was awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA. She will additionally hold charge of Director, Defence Labour Procurement, JK, until further orders.
In another order, Mohd Raiyaz, JKAS, Deputy Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Karnah-Tangdhar, against an available vacancy.
