SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has accorded sanction to the promotion of eight officers of the JK Rural Development (Gazetted) Service to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), corresponding to Level 11 of the pay matrix.
According to an official order, the officers — Hilal Arafat, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Abdul Rashid Ganaie, Mohammad Akbar Wani, Sanjeev Kumar, Arif Ayaz Dar, Mukesh Sharma and Joginder Lal — have been granted notional promotion with effect from January 1, 2025, and will be promoted on a regular basis prospectively.
The order further stated that the promoted officers will continue at their present place of posting until further orders.
