SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has promoted six Selection Grade officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Service to the Special Scale, with five of the promotions taking effect from August 4, 2026, and one officer receiving notional promotion from January 20, 2025.
The Finance Department issued Government Order No. 251-F of 2026 on August 4, sanctioning the promotions to Level-13 of the pay matrix, carrying a pay scale of Rs 1,23,100-2,15,900.
Shahid Majeed Kakroo has been promoted to the Special Scale notionally with effect from January 20, 2025, and on a regular basis from August 4, 2026.
Harjeet Kour, Manav Gupta, Amit Mahajan, Pre Lata Patial and Rashim Deepika have been promoted to the Special Scale with effect from August 4, 2026.
The promotions were sanctioned on the basis of the minutes of the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee meeting held on July 23, 2025, conveyed through U.O No. GAD-SERVOKAS/173/2021 dated July 29, 2026.
