In a statement, Itoo said the increase in seats reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening medical education and expanding opportunities for aspiring doctors across the Union Territory.

She credited the development to the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, stating that the government remains focused on improving medical education infrastructure, increasing access to professional education and building a stronger and more accessible healthcare system for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
