SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has placed Manzoor Ahmad Dar, In-charge Executive Engineer of PHE Mechanical Division South Awantipora, with effect from March 28, 2026, the day he was detained by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kashmir.
The suspension has been implemented under Rule 31 of the JK Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956. During the suspension period, Dar will remain attached to the office of the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti (PHE) Kashmir and will be entitled to subsistence allowance as per the applicable rules.
This action underscores the government’s commitment to enforcing accountability and transparency in public service.
