SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government’s School Education Department has issued a final notice to Farhan Wajahat, a candidate selected for the post of Lecturer in Political Science, directing him to complete his Police Verification Report (PVR) form within five days or face cancellation of his selection.
The notice, issued by the department on October 19, 2026, states that the candidate has not filled in the required details in the PVR form despite a link being sent to his registered mobile number.
According to the notice, the department had earlier directed Wajahat, son of Wajahat Hussain and a resident of Topa Dodaj in Darhal, to submit his mobile number and valid email address through a notice dated February 25, 2026.
The candidate subsequently submitted the required contact details, following which a link to the PVR form was generated under Form No. 162532 on June 18, 2026, and sent to his registered mobile number.
However, the department said the required form had not been completed to date.
Through the latest notice, the department has directed Wajahat to fill in the PVR form within five days of the notice’s issuance and inform the administrative department once the process is completed. It warned that failure to comply would result in the cancellation of his selection for the post of Lecturer in Political Science.
