SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee has notified all intending Haj pilgrims for Haj 2025 that the last date for depositing the advance Haj amount has been extended until October 31.
“After depositing the advance amount, provisionally selected pilgrims must submit the Haj Application Form (HAF), Solemn Declaration & Undertaking, a copy of the pay-in slip/online receipt, a Medical Screening and Fitness Certificate (as per the format available on the website: www.hajcommittee.gov.in), a self-attested copy of their international passport, and one passport-sized photograph (with a white background) to the Haj Section of the concerned Deputy Commissioner’s office by 5th November 2024,” reads a circular.
Provisionally selected pilgrims from district Srinagar shall submit the above-mentioned documents directly to Haj House Bemina, Srinagar, on or before November 5.
Furthermore, all selected pilgrims are advised to download the Medical Screening and Fitness Certificate from the Haj Committee of India website (www.hajcommittee.gov.in) and have it issued by a government medical officer after undergoing a medical examination. (GNS)
