SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee has announced a mandatory training programme for selected pilgrims of Hajj-2026, covering Mansik-e-Haj and other logistical aspects, to be conducted across various districts of the Union Territory. The committee has advised all pilgrims from the Kashmir Division to attend the sessions as per the prescribed schedule.

The training for pilgrims from Anantnag, Pahalgam, Sallar, Kokernag, Larnoo, and Srigufwara will be held on January 19, 2026 at 10:30 AM in the auditorium hall of the Government Degree College, Women, Anantnag. Pilgrims from Shangus, Dooru, Qazigund, Shahabad Bala, Mattan, and Bijbehara will attend sessions on January 20 at the same venue.
For Baramulla district, pilgrims from Pattan, Khoi, Vagur, Kreeri, Singpora, Tangmarg, Kunzer, and Keran will attend on January 22, at Jamia Hamdania Masjid Sharief, Kunzer. Pilgrims from Baramulla, Uri, Boniyar, Wagoora, Dangiwacha, Rohama, Sopore, Watrgam, Zanigeer, and Dangerpora are scheduled for January 24 at Masjid-e-Baitul Mukararamah, Baramulla.
Budgam district pilgrims from Budgam, Khansahib, Narabal, Magam, Khag, and Beerwah will attend training on January 19 at Jamia Masjid Sharief, Ompora. Pilgrims from Chadoora, Kanipora, Charari Sharief, and BK Pora will participate on January 20 at the same venue.
Bandipora district pilgrims will attend on January 22 at Peer Masjid, Bandipora, while Ganderbal district pilgrims will convene on January 21 at Markazia Hanfia Jamia Masjid, Beehama, Ganderbal.
Pilgrims from Kupwara district, including Tehsils Dragmulla, Trahgam, Kralpora, Keran, Machil, Sogam, Lalpora, Tangdar, and Karnah, will attend on January 29 at Jamia Masjid, Kupwara. Those from Handwara, Langate, Kralgund, Qaziabad, Bilgam, Zachaldara, and Kalamabad will attend on January 31 at Jamia Masjid, Handwara.
For Pulwama district, pilgrims from Rajpora, Litter, Pulwama, and Kakapora will attend on January 21 at Jamia Masjid Chatpora, while pilgrims from Awantipora, Tral, Aripal, and Pampore are scheduled for January 22 at Jamia Masjid, Awantipora. Kulgam district pilgrims will also attend on January 22 at Markazi Jamia Masjid, and Shopian district pilgrims are scheduled for January 24 at Tak Masjid Sharief.
In Srinagar, the training will be conducted at Baitul Hujaj Haj House, Bemina. Pilgrims with Cover Numbers JKF-1-2-0 to JKF-1158-3-0 will attend on January 28, JKF-1159-2-0 to JKF-1369-4-0 on January 29, and JKF-1370-2-0 to JKF-2249-2-0 on January 31.
The Hajj Committee has stressed that attendance is compulsory to ensure pilgrims are adequately prepared for the religious journey.
