SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department has directed eight selected Medical Officers (Allopathic) to submit their email addresses and mobile numbers in person within seven days for registration under the Employee Verification System (EVS) to facilitate verification of their character and antecedents.
The department has warned that any selectee who fails to submit the required details within the prescribed seven-day period will be presumed to be unwilling to opt for appointment in the Health and Medical Education Department and will forfeit the right to appointment without any further notice.
The direction follows receipt of the select list for the posts of Medical Officers (Allopathic) from the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) through communication No. PSC/DR/Medical Officer (Allopathic)/H&ME/2024 dated July 19, 2024.
As per the notice issued on September 7, 2026, all concerned selectees listed in the annexure have been asked to submit their email address and mobile number at the Health and Medical Education Department, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar/Jammu, for registration under the Employee Verification System (EVS).
The department said the verification of character and antecedents is being undertaken in terms of General Administration Department Circular No. 18-JK (GAD) of 2022 dated May 20, 2022.
The seven-day period will be counted from the date of issuance of the notice. The department has specifically stated that failure to comply within the stipulated period will be treated as an indication that the concerned candidate does not wish to opt for the appointment.
The annexure contains the following eight selectees:
1. Zubair Ahmad Khan, son of Nazir Ahmad Khan, resident of 368 Dalipora, Pulwama, Pulwama, PIN 192301, JKPSC S. No. 41 — 57.50 marks.
2. Saba Jan, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Dar, resident of 135 Zoohama Khanday Pora, Chadoora, Budgam, PIN 191113, JKPSC S. No. 42 — 57.50 marks.
3. Saika Khursheed, daughter of Khursheed Ahmad, resident of 3 Pandit Mohalla, Haft Chinar, Srinagar, PIN 190008, JKPSC S. No. 43 — 57.25 marks.
4. Wani Mujtaba Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Wani, resident of 152 Iqbal Colony, Ferozpora, Tangmarg, Baramulla, PIN 193402, JKPSC S. No. 44 — 57.25 marks.
5. Sakit Qayoom, son of Dr AB Qayoom Khan, resident of near Masjid Warihama, Warihama, Beerwah, Budgam, PIN 193411, JKPSC S. No. 45 — 57.25 marks.
6. Ifra Gulzar, daughter of Syed Gulzar Ahmad Shah, resident of 99 Midoora, Awantipora, Pulwama, PIN 192122, JKPSC S. No. 46 — 57.25 marks.
7. Raja Fahad Bin Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Rather, resident of 0 Moominabad, Bona Dialgam, Anantnag, PIN 192101, JKPSC S. No. 47 — 57.25 marks.

The notice bears No. HD-Gaz0Gen/597/2025-02 (E-7677658) and was issued on September 7 by Neha Bakshi, JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government.
