SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department has engaged manpower through outsourcing in the Directorate of AYUSH and the Directorates of Health Services Jammu and Kashmir, the government has informed the Legislative Assembly.
The details were provided in response to Starred Question No. 1/6/230 raised by Shopian MLA Shabir Ahmad Kullay regarding the engagement and appointment of manpower through outsourcing.
According to the government, the engagements made during the last two years include details of the individuals engaged, their particulars, places of posting and dates of engagement. The Directorate-wise and constituency-wise information has been provided in Annexures A and B accompanying the reply.
The government said the manpower was engaged through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform after completion of the prescribed formalities and in accordance with Finance Department Circular No. 08-FD of 2023 dated December 4, 2023.
The reply also listed the agencies involved in providing outsourced manpower to the health institutions.
For the Directorate of AYUSH, M/S G Active Security Services, with offices at Main Road Bemina, Srinagar, and Rehari, Jammu, was engaged for multi-purpose workers. M/S Wishwas Security Services, operating from Nowgam Bypass, Srinagar, and Residency Road, Jammu, was engaged for unskilled attendants, while Sotra Enterprises, Dorga Hall, Jammu, was also listed among the agencies.
For the Directorate of Health Services Jammu, the agencies named were D. K. Enterprises Ltd, VIT Placement Services, Unique Sanitation and Outsourcing Services, and ABN Personnel Network.
The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir engaged manpower through M/S BD Security Services, M/S Comtech Info Solutions Pvt Ltd, M/s Farooq Ahmad Dar, M/S New Kashmir Security Services, Wishwas Security Agencies, M/s AH Traders Baramulla Kashmir, M/S Shameema Welfare Society Bemina Srinagar, Ishita Manpower Services Pvt Ltd, Delhi, M/S Naseer Ahmad Rather Pvt Limited, M/S Gh. Mohi Din Malik, Dab Ganderbal, and M/S Global Security/BD Security.
The government said the outsourced engagements were made after following the requisite procedures under the applicable Finance Department instructions. The reply was signed by the Minister in Charge of the Health and Medical Education Department and the Director Finance.
