SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh has transferred Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, and placed his services at the disposal of the Chief Justice for his adjustment as Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice against a vacant post.
The order, issued by Registrar General M.K. Sharma on September 12, 2026, stated that the transfer was made “in the interest of administration”.
Following Zargar’s transfer, the Special Judge, Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, will hold the additional charge of the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, until the post is filled on a regular basis.
The order was issued as High Court Order No. 1429 of 2026/RG and circulated to concerned judicial and administrative authorities for information and necessary action.
The Registrar General also directed the Incharge NIC of the High Court to have the order uploaded on the court’s official website.
