SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has directed a time-bound inquiry into allegations levelled against three employees of the Designs, Inspections and Control Department, Jammu.
According to an order issued by the Public Works (R and B) Department, the Engineer-in-Chief, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to conduct a thorough investigation into the charges against Junior Assistant Pankaj Gupta and Senior Assistants Kewal Krishan and Ashok Raina.
The inquiry officer has been instructed to submit a detailed report, along with clear recommendations, within a period of 15 days.
In the meantime, Accounts Officer Kuldeep Kumar has been designated as the Presenting Officer for the case.
Pending completion of the inquiry, all three officials have been attached to the office of the Engineer-in-Chief until further orders.
