SRINAGAR: A man was found dead at his residence in the Hunder area of Arnas in Reasi district on Thursday, officials said.
An official said that police received information about the incident and immediately rushed to the spot, where the man was found dead inside his house.
The deceased was later identified as Vidiya Sagar, son of Mir Chand, a resident of Hunder village in Tehsil Arnas.
Police have taken cognisance of the matter and initiated inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Further investigation is underway. (KNO)
