SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir has been recognised as one of the top achievers in the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024, with Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Vikramjit Singh receiving the award on behalf of the UT Government at Udyog Samagam 2025 in New Delhi.

The award was presented by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal.

Jammu Kashmir secured the 5th rank nationwide, emerging as a Top Achiever with the highest score in four out of five critical reform categories. Officials said the recognition highlights the administration’s efforts to build a transparent, efficient and investment-friendly business environment aimed at accelerating industrial growth.
