SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday carried out search operations at several locations in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its ongoing investigation into a terror conspiracy case.
Official sources said that the raids were conducted in Mohalla Khorinar and Hari-Surankote areas in connection with a case linked to the recovery of arms and ammunition, including a pistol and two grenades, from two individuals in the border district in 2024.
Officials said the agency had earlier filed a chargesheet in April last year against the accused Abdul Aziz and Munawar Hussain, along with their alleged Pakistani handler Nazir Hussain, in connection with the case. Investigations are ongoing to uncover further links in the conspiracy, they added. (KNC)
