SRINAGAR: One person was killed and several others injured after a passenger Matador overturned near the Bakkal Tunnel in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The vehicle was travelling from Bakkal towards Reasi when the accident occurred near the tunnel, according to reports.
An official said a rescue operation was launched following the accident and the injured passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The official confirmed that one person died in the accident, while several others sustained injuries.
The exact number of injured passengers and their condition were not immediately known.
